Sailor Babo has a fun night out

We took SBoB on our latest adventure.  “Ooh, what’s this?”

Lost City Diner…looks good to me!”

He really enjoyed the diner’s retro sci-fi decor.

“Can I ride around in that rocket?”

“Aaaah, fish men of Venus!”

“Whoa, trippy!”

He was a little disappointed that the burgers we ordered weren’t cookies.

But he cheered up when we got a cookies and cream milkshake.

“That was good.  Now I’m ready for the show.”

And off we went to see Kids in the Hall.

“Do you know if they’ll serve cookies when the show starts?”

No cookies but the show was really funny.  A good time was had by all!

    Hamburger = Beef cookie!

That looks like a fun night on the town for everyone involved. My favorite shot is the one of Babo with the trippy clock. He looks so distressed.

Very true – perhaps if we had described it as a meat cookie he would have been more interested. I know, he was a little freaked out by the place but I think he liked it overall. 🙂

  2. Lauri says:

He looks like the beginning of Time Tunnel in that trippy picture.
Wow, that looks like an awesome burger and onion rings! *drool*

    • mmcurator says:

Haha, he was a little worried he’d end up time traveling but we assured him it was just the decor. Everything was pretty tasty – fries were good too. 🙂

LTSB, being a big scifi fan, now wants to go to that diner.

That burger is bigger than Babo!

  4. mmcurator says:

Yes, I highly recommend the diner! Such a weird atmosphere (in a good way) and the food is good too. SBoB loves food that’s bigger than he is, especially cookies. 🙂

  5. What a cool venue!
The food looked good….now I’m all hungry again
