I saved this little guy from the auction block last night.
At $2.75, he cost less than a mocha.
And he’s much more handsome.
His little arms seemed to be reaching up for me. A mocha never did that!
Thank goodness you’re ever-vigilant for these situations. An unrescued Sailor Babo might as well be lost at sea.
I’ve got a “sailor babo” saved search set up on eBay so I get a notification every time one of them comes up for auction. I haven’t bid on one in a long time, but this guy looked more desperate than the others.
How sweet! The little guy needed a good home!!
He’ll have an embarrassingly large number of brothers and sisters here to make him feel welcome. Unfortunately, the Cookies Per Babo number (CPB) will be decreasing once again.
Hooray! Another Babo safe in the refuge!
He’s not safe yet. He could still get lost in the mail…or stolen off my porch! All the other Babos are trying to cross their stubby, fluff-filled fingers.
Ugh! We will all cross ours, too. Fluff and otherwise filled!
His hat is at quite the jaunty angle.
I hope he arrives safely at the Babo Refuge.
I hadn’t noticed the angled hat. That’s how I’ll be able to tell him apart from the others.
