Sailor Babo knows it’s autumn!

The giant apples have once again taken over the LT’s backyard.

That’s my hand holding the last one. Sailor Babo wonders whether we’re going to play softball or offer it to Snow White.

Those things are truly massive! And you have said they are delicious, too, right?
Having fruit trees is quite a gift!

    • Lurkertype says:

Yep, we ate one of them just now. Nothing like tree-ripe fruit!

LTSB came to live with us during apple season, so he likes it. He busted out of his plastic bag and got his tag removed to the scent of apples.

Are Babo and the apples sitting on a hot tub cover?!

  3. homebody says:

Oo, you’ve got apples in your own back yard? Awesome!

    • Lurkertype says:

We have a LOT of apples in our back yard. Our tree is an overachiever. We also have a lemon tree. And a passion fruit vine. And roses and geraniums.

      • homebody says:

        Your yard sounds quite wonderful!

        • Lurkertype says:

The grass is really nothing but weeds, which is why I never photograph it. But we don’t have kids, the kittehs don’t go out, and I hate to waste the water. So the flowers are tough enough to survive on their own, and we give the trees deep watering and sometimes natural fertilizer.

If it can’t survive benign neglect and doesn’t provide food or flowers, it’s long-dead in my yard.

(We have birds of paradise in the front)
