Sailor Babo checks out Flowermart

Sailor Babo of Baltimore (SBoB) took advantage of the nice weekend weather and explored the annual Mt. Vernon festival known as Flowermart.  He didn’t have any interest in the flowers but managed to find some other fun.

He liked the display of antique cars.  “These are funny-looking boats!”

This one was his favorite.

“Who’s that handsome devil?”

“Lotsa junk in the trunk!”

“Cheese it, the fuzz!”

After that he wanted to get a snack.  “Strudel?  What dat?”

“Oh, I guess it’s like a soft, puffy filled cookie.”

He didn’t get any strudel but he did enjoy a lemon stick at the library.  “Eh, it’s not a cookie but I’ll take it…sure is refreshing!”

“It’s too nice to stay inside…let’s go back out!”

And that concludes the latest SBoB adventure.  🙂

That right there was my favorite part of this post…although SBoB checking his look in the mirror was also pretty cool. Nice library, too. And lemon-thingy!

  2. No strudel? Whyyyy? I know lemon’s more healthy, but I’d have a hard time passing up a strudel cart, as long as it wasn’t the kind buried in whipping cream. We had those in Minnesota. They tasted great while you were eating them, but afterwards they left this feeling of having eaten this whipped cream bomb.

Oooh, that sounds really good! I think poor little SBoB was confused as to what strudel was…he at least can identify a lemon so he went with what he knew. He’s a little dim. 🙂

What a great day for SBoB!

It was…although not necessary for the people living near FlowerMart (cough like me cough cough) – so much noise! But the little scamp did have fun. 🙂

Wow, I didn’t get notified about this! Love it! SBoB is a handsome devil.
