Sailor Babo is ready for “All aboard!”

After 3 more MAX trips and riding around in a TriMet staff truck, he’s very tired, and ready to head back home on the Amtrak Cascades route.

I think Sailor Babo has been on every form of transport there is. Half of them today!

SB is very supportive of public transit, always.

  2. Just curious—why didn’t Sailor Babo just take the Amtrak to Portland in the first place, instead of flying down by prop plane? I know it’s not the most speedy way to get from Seattle to Portland—my son complained he probably could have gotten to Portland faster if he rode his bike—but it is direct.

I bet Sailor Babo will sleep well tonight! Travel is fun, but it takes a lot out of one.

Sailor Babo is exhausted. We flew down because the earliest train didn’t arrive early enough to make an 11 am meeting, and I had heard even the scheduled arrival times aren’t reliable. We just had a 20 minute “pause” outside of in Centralia waiting for freight traffic to pass.
