Babo’s Baking Day, part 3

“Now these definitely look like cookies!”

Yes, sugar cookies.  Amazingly good sugar cookies, in fact.  I got it from the i am baker blog.

“But why is everything naked?”

Because today was only Baking Day.  Next weekend is Decorating Day, silly.

Do you really think those cookies are going to last all week? Sailor Babo looks hungry!

    • Laurie says:

We had some to make sure they turned out all right, but now they’re in the freezer. Until he gets a BabO-sized parka, SBOC doesn’t want to hang out in there.

      • Lurkertype says:

LTSB says he might give it a shot, except the freezer’s way off the ground, and we always have cookies on the table anyway.

Hey, could you ever make a Babo-shaped cookie? I guess you’d have to cut it out of cardboard. Something to think about during the winter doldrums.

We’re going to pick up some more cookies from the BFFs. LTSB and Mr. LT are both happy since they’ve managed to make the last batch vanish.

        • Laurie says:

I couldn’t even get the simplest cut shapes out of this batch — these had to be rolled into balls and flattened. I think a Babo shaped cookie is beyond my rudimentary cookie crafting skills.

Yum! I love corn meal mush! Oh, wait—those are cookies? I LOVES ME SOME COOKIES!

  3. Lauri says:

SBOCanada does look very very happy! And I have some butter out softening to make up a batch of sugar cookie dough. Yay! If I get inspired I might even bake the cookies and let the kids frost them when they get here.
