Sailor Babo Visits Turkeyville

A FamilyH tradition for decades. We still call it the Turkey Farm even though there aren’t live turkeys raised here anymore.

Yay, Turkeyville!

Do they really have the World’s Best Turkey Sandwich? That’s a bold claim.

The turkey sandwiches are fabulous. I vote yes. About 50 years or so ago, they started serving turkey sandwiches at the county fair. DadH said they were so popular the Cornwells started a restaurant at the farm. I remember going to see the turkeys when we came here to eat but those are gone now.

It’s in the middle of nowhere but now tour buses of old people come here for the food, the dinner show and gift shop.

I drive by the Turkeyville signs everytime I go from home to Chicago and back! Haven’t ever stopped there, though!
